Basic elements and models of communication systems, transmission media, LAN and WAN configurations, network architectures, topologies, devices, OSI Reference Model, and Internet Protocol Addressing.
Client-side scripting with JavaScript (fundamentals, functions, control structures, object-based programming, event handling) and server-side scripting with PHP (variables, operators, database connectivity, SQL queries).
Review of C programming concepts, user-defined functions (prototypes, calls, returns), storage classes, recursion, structure and union differentiation, pointers, and sequential/random data file handling functions.
Introduction to Object-Oriented Programming paradigms, core features, advantages, and real-world software applications.

To successfully complete this course and be eligible for your practical marks, you are strictly required to submit a comprehensive lab report at the end of the academic year.
This report is a compiled, systematic documentation of the SQL exercises, C programming solutions, web development tasks, and any other laboratory work you complete throughout the term.
